KmBox Net

Buy the box

Purchase channels are being prepared. Please contact AXG support for now.

Installation

1.Connect the box to PC

#1.The port names are labeled on the back of the box. Connect the net port to the PC running AIG5
2.Connect the gaming PC port to the PC you play games on
3.Connect the mouse or wireless receiver to the keyboard/mouse port on the box
  • If you only have one PC, connect both the net port and the gaming PC port to the same PC.
  • Although it is called the "net port", it is actually a USB cable: once plugged in, Windows gets an extra network adapter for the box (usually called USB 2.0 Ethernet Adapter), and the driver is normally installed automatically.

2.Set the network adapter IP

#1.Open Control Panel → Network and Sharing Center → Change adapter settings
2.Right-click the box's network adapter (not the adapter you normally use for the internet) → Properties
3.Double-click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and select Use the following IP address
4.Enter 192.168.2.100 as the IP address and 255.255.255.0 as the subnet mask, leave the rest blank, then click OK
  • The PC's IP must be on the same subnet as the box (the first three parts are the same), but must not be exactly the same as the box's IP. The 192.168.2.100 above assumes the box IP is 192.168.2.188; if your box IP is different, change the first three parts to match the box.
  • To check the connection: press Win, search for cmd to open Command Prompt, and enter ping 192.168.2.188 (replace it with your box's IP). If you see replies, it is connected.

3.Find the IP, Port and UUID

#After the box powers on, its screen shows the IP, Port and UUID. Write down these three values
  • The factory IP is usually 192.168.2.188.
  • The Port and UUID are different on every box. Use the values shown on your box's screen.

4.Connect the box to AIG Assist

#1.Open AIG5 and log in
2.On the Input mode page, set Input method to KmBox Net (marked "Manual setup")
3.Fill in IP, Port and UUID in order
4.Click Connect box
5.After a successful connection, AIG5 moves on to the next page automatically (Sensitivity Calibration or the console)
FieldWhat to enterExample
IPThe box's IPv4 address192.168.2.188
PortThe box's port, 1–6553516672
UUIDThe 8-digit UUID on the box41387019

The examples only show the format; use the values on your box. After a successful connection, AIG5 remembers these three values, so you don't need to enter them again next time.

Notes

#FAQ
#"Invalid IP", "Invalid port" or "Invalid UUID" appears

The matching field turns red, which means its format is wrong:

  • IP: must be four groups of numbers like 192.168.2.188
  • Port: a number between 1 and 65535
  • UUID: 8 digits

Fix it and press Connect box again.

#"Cannot reach KmBox Net" appears

The format is correct, but the box doesn't respond. Please check:

  1. The box's net port cable is connected to the PC running AIG5, and the box's screen is on
  2. The PC's network adapter IP is on the same subnet as the box (see step 2), and ping reaches the box
  3. The IP, Port and UUID match what the box's screen shows

Then press Connect box again.
