KmboxB

Buy the box

Purchase channels are being prepared. Please contact AXG support for now.

Installation

1.Connect the box to PC

#1.The port names are labeled on the back of the box. Use the included USB cable to connect the serial port to the PC running AIG5
2.Connect the controlled PC (gaming PC) port to the PC you play games on
3.Connect the mouse or wireless receiver to the keyboard/mouse port on the box
  • If you only have one PC, connect both the serial port and the gaming PC port to the same PC.
  • If the mouse moves and clicks normally once it is plugged into the box, no adjustment is needed. If not, refer to "keyboard/mouse adaptation" in the official manual.

2.Driver installation

#1.On the PC running AIG5, download the driver (CH341SER)
2.Open the driver and click INSTALL
⬇️ Download driver (WCH website)

KmboxB's serial port uses a CH340 chip, so it needs WCH's official CH341SER driver (different from Makcu's CH343 driver). If Device Manager still can't find it after installation, unplug and replug the box or restart the PC and check again.

3.Get the COM port

#1.Open Move the mouse to the Windows Start button
Device Manager is in the right-click menu

2.Expand Ports (COM & LPT)
3.Find USB-SERIAL CH340 (COM?); the number after COM is the COM port

The COM port is assigned randomly by the PC and differs from PC to PC. If there are several CH340 entries, unplug the box's serial cable and plug it back in; the entry that disappears and reappears is the box.

4.Connect the box to AIG Assist

#1.Open AIG5 and log in
2.On the Input mode page, set Input method to KmBoxB (marked "Manual setup")
3.Enter the COM port from the previous step in the COM port field
4.Click Connect box
5.After a successful connection, AIG5 moves on to the next page automatically (Sensitivity Calibration or the console)
  • You can enter just the number. For example, entering 3 is completed to COM3 automatically.
  • The connection rate is fixed at 115200, so no extra setting is needed.
  • After a successful connection, AIG5 remembers this COM port, so you don't need to enter it again next time.

Notes

#FAQ
#"Invalid COM port" appears

What you entered is not in COM port format. Enter only the number (for example 3) or write it like COM3, then press Connect box again.

#The connection fails after pressing Connect box

This COM port can't be opened. Please check:

  1. The box is connected to the PC and is visible under Ports in Device Manager
  2. The COM port you entered matches the one shown in Device Manager
  3. No other program is using this COM port (for example a serial port tool or the box's debugging software); close it and press Connect box again
#It shows connected, but the crosshair doesn't respond at all

When connecting KmboxB, AIG5 only checks that "this COM port can be opened"; it doesn't confirm that the device on the other end is really a KmboxB. If there are other serial devices on the PC, a wrong COM port may also show as connected. Go back to step 3 to check the COM port again, then enter the correct one on the Input mode page and connect again.
